Schutzpolizie with Bandenkampfabzeichen! RARE !

A non-commissioned officer (presumably Wachtmeister) of the Schutzpolizei or Gendarmerie. As the photo is black and white, the Waffenfarbe cannot be clearly seen. But presumably it refers to the Schutzpolizei.

This man wears the very rare Bandenkampfabzeichen on his chest!
