Given the different higher ranks, namely SD-Brigadeführer and SD-Sturmbannführer, it should be possible to identify individuals. Certainly the SD-Brigadeführer is likely to be identifiable.
It is suspected that the series shows a meeting/meeting (with associated game activities and camaraderie night) of an SD Brigadeführer and his subordinates, five SD-Sturmbannführers and their non-commissioned officers, in a confiscated villa in Poland that served as an SD headquarters, in the period between 1940 and 1942. It is possible that the people shown in the photos were involved in the Einsatzgruppen in Eastern Europe.
