Studio portrait of an 'Oberschütze' with 'Bergmütze M38'.

The flap is quite short and soft, which is more typical of the M38 Bergmütze. The M43 had a wider, sturdier flap (e.g. to block out sun or rain), and was often just slightly more angular in shape than what is shown in the photo.

Not written on the reverse, no adhesive residue.
