German postcard sent from St.Nazaire in France (1942)
The card is written on the back as shown in the scan. The following text can be read:
'My beloved ones! 24.9.1942
Letter received with thanks. I am glad everything is arriving so well. So, they are now on their way so far for 4 days of reading and 1 package for me? I might get complaints, but it is still too hot now, for late breakfast. Anne had now taken the tin, like the old two. Now we are complete, you will act on my advice. And when you work with father, not everything will not. An incident is bound to happen. So surely everything must also...? Write me down what I paid close attention to in the letter. Then everything is expected during leave. Pay attention to everything for your old man. Now there's at least half a love affair, right? You and my will is a consolation. Must get a good night's sleep. Tired I am enough. I can't fall asleep during the day anymore. On the whole, I'm fine sometimes.
Greetings from your Fritz.
The card is in good collectible condition.
Measures approximately 8.9 cm x 13.8 cm.
