This is a photo album that tells the story of “Karl Kesten” who served with the Luftwaffe. This album is the account of his deployment in northern Russia during the period from 1942 to 1944.

The album describes and photographs various places and stays such as “Loega” (Leningrad) - “Ljublino” (Moscow) and “Pleskau” near the border with Estonia.

The album covers various topics such as:

* aircraft, including German and Russian;
* driving licence and personal documents;
* discharge letter from hospital in September 1945.

Karl was seriously wounded and spent several months in hospital in FLensburg. He did eventually survive the war.

As shown in the 1-last photo, the cover is loose. This is very easy to repair and fix! The album is in fine collectors condition.
