This set of 10 photographs comes from an SS-Oberscharführer who served with the SD.
In two photos, he is wearing an SA uniform and is photographed in portrait style. Later, he is seen in full SD uniform.
In one of the photos, he has a sleeve band with the text: “Grenz-Polizei”.
The rank he uses (with two stripes on the collar) is a rank that no longer existed in the standard Waffen-SS structure, but was used in police, Sipo and older Allgemeine-SS structures.
