This album is built around one person who started out as a member of the Hitler Youth and eventually trained with the ''Grenadier-Ausbildungs-Bataillon (motorisiert) 87''. This was a German training battalion (grenadiers) in the Wehrmacht during the Second World War, attached to the Wehrkreis XII (Wiesbaden) military district.
Most of the photographs in this album were taken between 1938 and 1941 during his time with the HJ. There are photographs from Koblenz, Mainz, Neunkirchen, Ober-Ramstadt and Rodau im Odenwald.
The album also contains a full-length portrait of him in his full uniform and decorations, including his ''DJ-Leistungsabzeichen''.
The album is complete, well bound, entirely original and contains a total of 57 photographs.
