SS-Totenkopf Canteen / men's quarters in France (1941) Guisy region

The text of the place name on the back is not clearly legible. One possibility is a spelling that indicates “Guisy”.

This unit was mainly active in Cambrai and the regions around the Sambre-Oise canals, Arras, Béthune, Calais and the coast during the battle towards Dunkirk.
