These two photos are quite special, as this soldier is wearing the ribbon for the “Winterslacht im Osten” medal, indicating he was active in Russia during the winter of 1941–1942 and subsequently served in Africa.
In addition to his decorations, this man is also wearing typical DAK footwear and pants made of “Zeltbahn” fabric, which is very unique and rarely seen in photographs.
The photos are not inscribed on the back and are in good collectible condition.
