This SA Sports Badge, officially known as the ''SA Defence Badge from 19 January 1939'', is the 3rd model or type.
Material: Bronze (technically: iron with a bronze/bronze-coloured finish)
Manufacturer: Fechler, Bernsbach/Saxony.
Date: from 1939, probably 1939–1943/44
Reverse: inscribed with ‘Eigentum der Obersten SA-Führung’
Construction: hinged long vertical pin, with hook fastening
Obverse: oak wreath, a sword in the centre and a swastika behind it.
In fine collector’s condition with a superb patina!
