H. Wolter was a professional press and photojournalist based in Berlin-Wittenau who, during the National Socialist regime, photographed official state, military and political events, amongst other things. His work was distributed as press images and covered events relating to the Wehrmacht, senior military figures, state visits and official ceremonies.
